Job summary

RPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is seeking 2nd Shift Aerosol Line Operators (Shift Differential) with a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Responsible for filling production batches into aerosol containers per batch tickets and performing routine maintenance on line equipment.

Set up all filling line equipment, make changeovers for new batches, and review orders for correct counts and fill rates. Basic math and reading skills are required; no prior experience is necessary.

GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible for filling production batches into aerosol containers as indicated on batch tickets.Performs routine maintenance and makes mechanical or electrical adjustments or repairs to production line machines as needed.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Other duties may be assigned.

• Locate proper product and filling items such as cans, lids, labels, etc.to fill aerosol containers per batch ticket instructions.
• Set up all equipment on filling line and make changeovers for filling new batch ticket orders.
• Review finished order for final counts on product and fill rates.
• Maintain neat and orderly work area.

• Ability to determine correct processes regarding standard aerosol filling procedures as instructed in initial training.
• Ability to determine and make basic mechanical adjustments and know when additional assistance is needed.
• The ability to work without continuous supervision and complete assigned projects.
