Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services in Roanoke, IN is hiring a Quality Inspector for a brand-new battery parts production facility. You will monitor quality, conduct tests, and record results in a controlled environment, ensuring compliance with customer standards.

The role requires basic math, blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting. Training starts on the first shift, with a 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM schedule.

• Maintain good housekeeping and contribute to quality objectives.
• Prepare and maintain quality records for inspection activities.

Pro Resources is hiring for a facility located near GM and Vera Bradley in Roanoke, Indiana. This brand new facility is ramping up for production, manufacturing Electric Vehicle battery parts in a temperature-controlled, cleanroom-like environment as the team grows to 300+ employees. The company also has locations in Asia and Europe that produce parts for battery-operated tools, automobiles, cellular phones, and solar equipment. If you have Quality Inspection experience, we would love to talk with you; if you don't, but bring motivation, personality, and teamwork. Pay:$19.50 but $18.00 while training on 1st shiftHours: 2pm-10:30pm with training on 1st shift

The Quality Inspector WillMonitor the quality of product and materials in a production environment, inspecting, conducting tests, analyzing, and measuring to determine if product or material meets or exceeds customer expectations and standardsUphold safety regulations and adhere to quality standards, effectively and efficiently reporting any issues or concerns to the Operator or SupervisorRecommend measures to improve product quality and recommend and introduce containment when requiredMaintain good housekeeping practices in all areasContribute to the achievement of quality objectives by ensuring quality policies, procedures, and processes are followed at all timesPrepare, review, and maintain quality records appropriate to inspection and test activities to assure legibility, completeness, and correctness of information

Required Skills/Knowledge

• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Ability to read and interpret quality documents, forms, processes, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, growing production environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

Skills/Knowledge Preferred

• Experience with an assembly/manufacturing environment
• Strong quality/inspection, production, and manufacturing aptitude
• Previous experience with a variety of measuring and gauging devices, including precision measuring instruments
• Experience with vision inspection systems and automated optical inspection
• General mechanical knowledge
• Experience operating machines and/or working in a production environment

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 45 lbs. routinely during shift
• Alternate sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time
