Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. in Dallas, TX is hiring a Press Operator to support setup and production runs. You will follow job tickets, assist with staging materials, and maintain stock levels to prevent downtime.

You will load paper lifts, verify guides and sheet detectors, and help monitor ink levels, sheet quality, and run quantities. Clean and organize the press area for efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from the job ticket and support press setup according to production requirements.
• Assist in staging materials and maintaining communication about stock levels to avoid production downtime.
• Load paper lifts and prepare books, verify guides and sheet detectors are working properly.
• Assist with register of image fit during make ready and throughout the production run.
• Monitor sheet consistency at the feeder and help maintain proper pull and register of sheet.
• Support checks of sheet pulls, ink levels, and run quantities during the production run.
• Clean blankets, cylinders, coatings, rollers, fountain trays, fountain solutions, and washing units.
• Keep the press and surrounding work area clean, tidy, and ready for continued workflow.
• Move stock, mark finished loads, and assist with inventory of ink, rags, and solvents.
• Check turned and winded loads, mark side guides, and verify damaged paper does not enter the press.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
