Job Description Machine Operator (Temp to Perm)

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent client in Elgin, IL, within the manufacturing industry, is seeking a friendly and passionate individual to join a great team as a Machine Operator. We are looking for a charismatic person who is detail-oriented, organized, punctual, and comfortable working in an industrial environment.

Machine Operator Job Summary:

Operate and monitor multiple controlled machines used in the production of automobiles, including A2 casting/molding machines and related equipment.

Pay and Shifts:

• Pay: $17.60 DOE
• Shift: 2nd Shift: 3pm to 11:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the die is running properly and gather first-off pieces following setup for quality inspection.
• Observe and check the operation of casting/molding machines.
• Inspect product quality for issues such as excessive flash, surface finish, and defects.
• Assist other operators as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, with three to six months of related experience or training. Proven experience as a machine operator, preferably in injection molding. Ability to perform general maintenance tasks.
