Job Description

As Nuestro Mundo continues to grow every school year, we are looking for an energetic and nurturing full-time teacher for the 2nd grade Spanish side. How does Nuestro Mundo's 50/50 language program work? At the elementary level, we have two classes per grade, in this case 2A and 2B and two teachers, one in the English side and one in the Spanish side. If you, as the English teacher start with 2A, that means the Spanish teachers starts with 2B and around mid day you swap. We do not teach English/ Spanish as second languages- we teach all content areas in both languages. We do not repeat lessons in the opposite language- we build upon lessons in both languages.
