Job Description

- Provide rigorous lessons aligned to the Common Core Standards and MA State Frameworks that promote independent thinking, creative problem solving, and intellectual curiosity for all students.
Performance Responsibilities
- Plan and implement instruction to insure that all students meet and exceed Common Core Standards and State Frameworks.
- Use data to inform instruction, track student progress, and conduct self‑evaluation and goal setting.
- Deliver engaging, targeted instruction that meets MA DESE and Common Core Standards for the level and subject taught.
- Differentiated services and instruction to meet a variety of student learning needs and strengths.
- Maintain active communication with students’ families supporting their learning and regularly communicate academic and social progress.
- Assess student performance using formal, summative, and portfolio assessments to drive instruction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
Terms of Employment
- Reports to: School Principal
- Rate: In accordance with the Unit A contract.

Job Requirements
- Licensed by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in appropriate content area and grade level.
- Demonstrated belief that each and every student can achieve at high levels.
- Demonstrated dedication to lifelong learning, reflection, and continued personal and professional growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and collaborative teamwork skills.
- SEI Endorsement.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
