Job summary

Royal Manchester Golf Links in Mount Wolf, PA seeks a full-time, hourly 2nd Assistant Superintendent to join our maintenance team. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision and PTO, with pay at $20.00–$24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, planning greens, tees, fairways and bunkers, and ensuring safe, compliant operations. Candidates should have an AA degree or equivalent and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (AA) in agronomy/horticulture or related field preferred.
• Three to four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance and construction of the 18-hole golf course to standards.
• Supervises maintenance staff and daily duties.
• Plans and directs maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, roughs and bunkers.
• Ensures grounds equipment is properly maintained.
• Manages planting, fertilizing and care of turf, plants and trees.
• Maintains records of course maintenance activities.
• Assists in budget preparation and action to meet goals.
• Keeps the course in proper playing condition.
• Ensures license compliance and safety regulations.
• Communicates with other departments about facilities and events.
• Assists with snow removal and adheres to safe work practices.
