Job summary

The Sonnenalp Club is seeking a dedicated 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to support daily maintenance and course conditioning. This hands-on role works with the Superintendent and maintenance team to uphold high standards for members and guests.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating tasks, and assisting with irrigation, chemical applications, and winter duties. A high level of outdoor work and safety awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of turfgrass management practices and irrigation systems.
• Experience in golf course landscaping and maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of pesticides and fertilizers schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of golf course maintenance, including planning, scheduling and execution of tasks.
• Supervise and train maintenance team for safe, efficient operations.
• Participate in daily maintenance activities such as mowing, fertilizing, watering, and more.
