Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Lanai is seeking a 2nd IV Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to lead daily maintenance operations and guide a team across the resort’s premium golf facility. The role requires hands-on leadership, a focus on safety, and strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

The position emphasizes labor management, scheduling, and delivering top-tier turf conditions in a luxury island setting with comprehensive benefits and housing support.

Responsibilities

• Support daily golf course maintenance operations by providing hands-on leadership, coordinating work assignments, maintaining records and schedules, and ensuring team members have the tools, resources, and guidance needed to perform effectively
• Assist with recruiting, training, developing, and evaluating Golf Maintenance team members while promoting a safe, collaborative, and high-performing work environment aligned with company standards
• Help manage labor, inventory, and operational resources to maintain exceptional conditions of turf, bunkers, cart paths, naturalized areas, maintenance facilities, and clubhouse grounds
• Support course improvement projects and maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems, including fertilizer and pesticide application programs, to ensure optimal course quality and playability
• Foster strong communication and teamwork across all levels of the operation while maintaining a visible leadership presence and recognizing employee contributions
• Ensure compliance with company policies and all environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirement
