Maintenance Technician - 2nd & 3rd Shift

We are seeking to fill full-time 2nd and 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician positions with a manufacturer located in Franklin, KY. If you possess the required skills and are looking for a new opportunity, please respond with your resume.

Beginning Salary: $30.08 per hour

Must Haves:

• Manufacturing Maintenance Tech experience (not military, apartments, etc.); experience must be within manufacturing
• 2-4 years of experience as a Maintenance Tech in manufacturing
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shifts (no 1st shift positions available)

Typical Maintenance Duties:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Proficient in basic hand tools and shop equipment
• Interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Have basic knowledge of control systems and automated equipment
• Diagnose problems with limited supervision
• Identify and requisition replacement parts
• Handle spare parts interfacing duties
• Train operators on basic maintenance tasks
• Share knowledge and work as a team to repair equipment
• Maintain good housekeeping and support 6S policies
• Lead and direct others in the absence of the supervisor
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe activities
• Participate in team efforts to meet departmental and company goals
• Provide leadership through example and knowledge sharing
• Perform other duties as assigned
