Job summary

YBI Recruiting is seeking 2nd and 3rd Shift Welders to join a premier manufacturing partner. You will weld using MIG processes and a torch welder, read blueprints, and install components on truck chassis, ensuring quality and timely workmanship.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, welding experience or training, and the ability to pass a weld test with AWS D1.1 certification within 60 days. Off-shift work is required, with competitive hourly pay and shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Welding knowledge through experience or vocational school training.
• Ability to pass a preliminary weld test and AWS D1.1 certification within 60 days.”
• Able and willing to work Off Shift.
• Ability to weld, cut and/or fabricate metal parts.
• Wire feed welding, MIG or TIG welding.

Responsibilities

• Weld using MIG processes and with a torch welder.
• Read and comprehend blueprints, process routings, and schematics for installation of various truck and body components onto truck chassis using torch, welder, winches, and hand tools.
• Determine critical dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools.
• Perform re-work as required.
• Provide quality and timely workmanship on each work order and maintain daily time standards.
• Follow established safety, environmental, and quality policies and practices.
• Work in a team environment - demonstrate flexibility to move from job to job to support the schedule.
• Maintain clean and orderly materials and work environment.
