Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; trade school or equivalent experience preferred.
• Industrial experience in a similar industry is preferred.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in basic mechanical or electrical skills.
• Excellent precision measuring ability.
• Understanding of plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and steam systems.
• Knowledge of preventative, predictive maintenance and proper lubrication.
• Able to read blueprints and plans at plant level.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul equipment in machining, electrical, plumbing, or welding.
• Maintain equipment records and administer preventative maintenance programs.
• Install, alter, and repair production equipment.
• Ensure compliance with LOTO, confined space and OSHA guidelines.
• Work safely and efficiently to minimize waste and meet production schedules.
