Job summary

Vesuvius is hiring a Maintenance Technician for 2nd and 3rd shifts at our Kentucky facility. The role provides on-site technical support, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Strong reading of technical drawings, basic wiring, plumbing and mechanical skills are required. A high school diploma and 2 years assembly or industrial maintenance experience are preferred; steel industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and 2 years assembly or industrial maintenance experience.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings/blueprints.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing, carpentry, electrical and electronics.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support, troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Install, inspect, maintain and repair tasks and equipment on-site.
• Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend repairs.
