Job summary

Kraft Heinz Company in Champaign, IL seeks energetic individuals to join our maintenance team on 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will perform equipment maintenance, inspections, modifications and troubleshooting in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

You will wear PPE, uphold safety standards, participate in QRMP audits, operate equipment to optimize quality, perform preventative maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement while meeting quality specs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Manufacturing environment experience or automotive technician experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
  • Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and electrical/instrument test equipment.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Follow directions and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Exercise good judgment and escalate issues outside scope.
  • Flexible schedules when needed.
  • Practice safe work habits.
  • Proficient with computers.
  • Maintain excellent attendance.
  • Promote teamwork.
  • Attention to detail to avoid errors.
  • Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement through innovation.
  • Ensure products meet quality specifications.
  • Execute basic equipment maintenance, cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and adjusting.
  • Perform sanitation and maintain sanitation standards.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
