Anchor Fabrication is hiring a Forklift Operator to support the Coatings department in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of forklift experience, strong attention to detail and a clean driving record. Candidates should be comfortable with basic computer tasks and able to work safely around sheet metal processes.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of forklift experience in manufacturing.
• Basic computer knowledge and understanding.
• Clean driving record with no property damage accidents within the past three years.
• Good eye/hand coordination and motor skills.
• Must be dependable, mature, and safely handle equipment.
• Must have previous experience with Sheet Metal.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations and safety checks including battery, seat belt, brakes, life control and fire extinguisher.
• Identify many types of raw material, in process or finished product, equipment, or processing materials.
• Check identification of materials to be moved; cross-reference with production or shipping schedule for accuracy.
• Proceed safely to assigned area to pull load and move materials to correct work area.
• Report inconsistencies or problems to supervisors.
• Other duties assigned.
