Calyx Living is seeking energetic 2nd/3rd shift Care Staff for our assisted living community in North Durham, near Duke University and downtown Durham's vibrant district.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, monitoring medications, recording vital signs, and ensuring resident safety. Candidates should be compassionate, reliable, and able to communicate effectively with residents and families, including weekend availability.

Formación

• Caregiver experience strongly preferred.
• Must have compassion and a desire to work with seniors.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Strong sense of maturity.
• Ability to adapt to each resident and setting.
• Trustworthy and attentive.
• 18 years or older.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with personal care needs and monitor self-administration of medication.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions and vital signs.
• Ensure resident hygiene and safety; assist with meal services as needed.
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records.
• Provide companionship and observe for changes requiring attention.

Calyx Living is actively seeking energetic 2nd/3rd Shift Care Staff for our assisted living community located in beautiful North Durham off the Eno River and just minutes from Duke University, the Durham Bulls Athletic Park and the American Tobacco Campus in downtown Durham's vibrant entertainment district.

2nd/3rd Shift Care Staff assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs, including but not limited to monitoring self-administration of medication, insuring resident hygiene, obtaining and recording residents vital signs, maintaining safety of residents, completing incident reports, assisting with meal services and observing residents for any changes in conditions.

Must have a "safety first" attitude towards all of our residents and staff.

Qualifications:

• Caregiver experience strongly preferred
