Job summary

University of Denver is seeking an Assessment Specialist to administer standardized assessments for a federally funded study involving 2nd and 3rd grade students. The role is part-time, seasonal, and based in the Denver metro area, with testing windows in September and April/May.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills for testing windows.
  • Ability to engage young students respectfully and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Administer standardized assessments to 2nd and 3rd grade students following prescribed procedures.
  • Test multiple students within designated windows and maintain scheduling accuracy.
  • Record and secure assessment data accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain confidential records of materials, scores, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with teachers and staff to schedule testing with minimal disruption to instruction.
