Job summary

Michigan Turkey Producers Co-op is seeking a hands-on Production Operator for the Wyoming, MI facility. You will assist with setup, teardown, and line maintenance to ensure smooth production flow.

You will move product to the cooler using a walkie rider or walk behind equipment and keep accurate inventory records for tanks and racks. Qualifications include following directions, attention to detail, Hi-Lo driving, good vision, English proficiency, and a strong commitment to safety and

• Must follow directions and pay attention to detail.

Essential Functions of role:

This is “hands on” production operation role; Meeting USDA, HACCP, GMFP, and Company standards, and under the supervision of a foreman the functions of this role is responsible for set up for production and to tear down the department, to maintain the line with a constant work flow; Using a walkie rider / walk behind must move product from the line to the cooler; And other duties as assigned by his-her foreman; Record all tanks and racks for inventory purpose.
