Michigan Turkey Producers Co-op in Wyoming, MI is seeking a full-time production team member to support daily operations on the line. You will work under a foreman to set up, tear down, and maintain a steady workflow.

Responsibilities include moving product with a walkie rider to the cooler and logging inventory with tanks and racks. Candidates must follow directions, show attention to detail, and be able to obtain a Walkie Rider license, drive a Hi-Lo, and work safely.

Essential Functions of role:

This is “hands on” production operation role; Meeting USDA, HACCP, GMFP, and Company standards, and under the supervision of a foreman the functions of this role is responsible for set up for production and to tear down the department, to maintain the line with a constant work flow; Using a walkie rider / walk behind must move product from the line to the cooler; And other duties as assigned by his-her foreman; Record all tanks and racks for inventory purpose.

• Must be able to follow directions;
• Must have attention to detail;
• Must know how to drive Hi-Lo;
• Must have good vision;
• Must be able to understand the English language;
• Must be able to work safely;
• Must have perfect attendance;
• Must be able to and must wear necessary Personal Protective Wear required while performing role: Protective Eye Wear, Ear plugs, Hard Hat, Hair Net, Protective Coat (clothing protector), Forearm protection, Plastics gloves, Cotton gloves.
