Job summary

MTP is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Attendant/Forklift at its Wyoming, MI location to handle shipping, receiving, and inventory functions. You will follow QA/USDA policies, operate Hi-Lo equipment, and work with the logistics team to meet daily priorities.

The role requires 3-5 years in shipping and inventory management, plus proficiency with MFG/PRO and Excel. Strong teamwork and communication are essential to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; college preferred.
• 1-2 years of Hi-Lo experience.
• 3-5 years experience in shipping, inventory control, and materials management.
• Proficient with MFG/PRO and Excel.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with many levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Logistics crew activities, including shipping, receiving, restack & warehouse management.
• Ensure all customer orders are filled in an accurate & timely manner.
• Work effectively with the Logistics’ Coordinator on all daily activities.
• Ensure FIFO rotation is followed.
• Maintain accurate perpetual inventory records with Logistics Coordinator, Warehouse Foreman and Department Manager.
• Comply with housekeeping expectations and assist in shift transitions.

Essential Functions of Role:

This is “hands on” position responsible for:

• Understand and follow all appropriate QA & USDA policies & procedures.
• Comply with all appropriate SSOP & HACP requirements
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Must be able to pick orders accurately
• Must be able to load trucks
• Provide Logistics’ Coordinator back up in the event of illness or vacation
• Must be able to ensure the department is working on the correct priorities in a timely & accurate manner
• And any other duties as assigned by his/her foreman.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Computer Proficiency (MFG/ PRO, Excel) and detailed oriented.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
