Position: Landscaping Crew Lead

Location: Pukalani, HI

Pay: $28/hour

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm

1. Lead and supervise daily activities of landscaping crews.
2. Perform landscape installation, maintenance, cleanup, and related tasks as needed.
3. Operate and safely maintain landscaping equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
4. Monitor the quality of work and ensure company standards are consistently met.
5. Identify and correct issues in the field before they impact project completion.
6. Communicate project updates, challenges, and material needs to the Project Manager.
7. Train and mentor new and existing crew members.
8. Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
9. Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
10. Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment by hand and/or wheelbarrow at the job site.
11. Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
12. Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, vendors, and other contractors when necessary.

Position Requirements:

1. Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience required.
2. Previous crew lead, foreman, or supervisory experience preferred.
3. Knowledge of landscaping tools, equipment, and basic landscape practices.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
5. Ability to read and follow work plans and project instructions.
6. Ability to work independently and effectively lead a team.
