Hilcorp Energy Company is seeking a plant operator to monitor and control inlet gas flows through compression, dehydration, recovery, and residue systems, ending at sale meters. The role includes recording readings, alarms, and maintaining daily logs, with a focus on safety and operational integrity.
The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of gas processing plant experience, be able to work a 12-hour rotating schedule including nights, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication
Monitors, maintains, and controls all steps of the inlet gas flows through the inlet compression, dehydration, recovery, and residue systems ending at the sale meters, and the recovered liquefied petroleum gases through the fractionation train to storage and on to sales.
Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability and skill to handle the duties and responsibilities of the position.
