TITLE:Technology Intern (CTE)
FLSA STATUS:Non-Exempt
QUALIFICATIONS:Current high school senior enrolled in the Academy of Information Technology. Ability to perform multiple tasks associated with technology upgrades and replacements. Strong interpersonal skills for effective verbal communication.
REPORTS TO:Instructional Technology Support Administrator
JOB GOAL:To obtain work-based learning hours and experience to satisfy the academy internship requirement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists technology technicians with daily activities to complete projects. These include but are not
limited to:
Performs other duties and accepts responsibilities as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have finger dexterity and be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion.
Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of technology users.
Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships, customer service, teamwork and professionalism.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Background check with local and state law enforcement agencies required.
