Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking an experienced Organisational Development Advisor to support the design and delivery of organisational development, learning and culture change initiatives across NHS Lanarkshire. You will work with individuals, teams and services to support development, improve team effectiveness, facilitate meaningful conversations and help people navigate change.

In this role you will lead on leadership development, support the iMatter staff experience programme and design bespoke

Qualifications

  • Educated to Degree level, preferably with a Post graduate level qualification.
  • Professional qualifications appropriate to post – e.g. CIPD, psychometric tools, coaching certificate or diploma.
  • Experience designing, delivering, evaluating and maintaining learning programmes (induction, communication, interpersonal skills, management development, customer care).
  • Ability to design and facilitate development events for teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of NHS Lanarkshire's organisational values programme by facilitating values and behaviours sessions across the organisation.
  • Design and deliver bespoke organisational development interventions.
  • Provide coaching support to individuals and teams.
  • Support the annual appraisal process across the organisation including designing and delivering awareness sessions for managers and staff.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Organisational Development Advisor to support the design and delivery of organisational development, learning and culture change initiatives across NHS Lanarkshire.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll work with individuals, teams and services to support development, improve team effectiveness, facilitate meaningful conversations and help people navigate change.

Alongside delivering team development and learning interventions, you'll play an important role in supporting key organisational priorities, including the iMatter staff experience programme and annual appraisal process.

In This Key Role
  • Support the delivery of NHS Lanarkshire's organisational values programme by facilitating engaging values and behaviours sessions with teams across the organisation.
  • Design and deliver bespoke organisational development interventions.
  • Provide coaching support to individuals and teams.
  • Support the annual appraisal process across the organisation including designing and delivering awareness sessions and guidance for managers and staff on how to have meaningful appraisal conversations.
  • Support in the delivery of NHS Lanarkshire's iMatter staff experience and continuous improvement tool
  • Lead on a range of internal leadership and management development programmes, facilitating engaging learning experiences that support leadership capability
  • Support organisational change and culture improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring
  • Educated to Degree level, preferably with a Post graduate level qualification
  • Professional qualifications appropriate to post – e.g. CIPD, psychometric tools, coaching certificate or diploma.
  • The post holder must have significant, demonstrable experience of assessing requirement, design/developing, delivering, evaluating and maintaining a range of generic learning programmes, such as induction, communication skills, interpersonal skills, management development and customer care
  • Ability to design and facilitate development events for teams
  • Good influencing and negotiating skills
  • Experienced in Coaching individuals and/or teams
  • Experience of facilitation/supporting team development
  • Experience of e-learning
  • Experience of /understanding of working in a large, multi-site organisation
  • Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Good experience of Learning process / group Learning techniques
  • Good PC skills - ability to use Microsoft software to a high standard
  • Customer focus / positive attitude
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure, balancing priorities and working to set timescales
  • Car Driver - Ability to travel between sites in Lanarkshire
  • A driving licence is required; this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
