Job summary

Greene Resources seeks a Class A CDL Material Transport Driver in Youngsville, NC. You will safely move materials and products within a large manufacturing facility, delivering between buildings and production locations while maintaining records and following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A CDL truck to transport materials across a large manufacturing facility.
• Move materials between warehouse, storage, shipping, receiving, and production areas.
• Complete deliveries and pickups accurately and promptly to avoid delays.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow safety regulations and site procedures while operating equipment on facility grounds.
• Verify material IDs, quantities, and delivery locations for accurate inventory movement.
• Communicate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams regarding requests and schedule changes.
• Maintain delivery records and required paperwork.
• Keep vehicle clean and report equipment issues promptly.
• Follow company policies related to safety and material handling.

Job Description:

1. Safely operate a Class A CDL truck to transport materials and products across a large manufacturing facility.
2. Move materials between designated warehouse, storage, shipping, receiving, and production areas according to operational needs.
3. Complete material deliveries and pickups accurately and in a timely manner to prevent production delays.
4. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
5. Follow established traffic patterns, site-specific driving procedures, and all applicable safety regulations while operating equipment on facility grounds.
6. Verify material identification, quantities, and delivery locations to ensure accurate movement of inventory.
7. Communicate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams regarding material requests, deliveries, and schedule changes.
8. Maintain accurate delivery records, material movement documentation, and required operational paperwork.
9. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and report equipment issues promptly.
10. Follow all company policies related to workplace safety, material handling, and vehicle operation.
11. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Position Requirements:

1. Active Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
2. Safe driving record and the ability to operate a commercial truck in an industrial environment.
3. Strong attention to detail when transporting and delivering materials.
4. Ability to follow directions, navigate a large manufacturing facility, and accurately identify delivery locations.
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with warehouse and production teams.
6. Ability to work independently while supporting daily manufacturing operations.
7. Ability to regularly lift up to 55 lbs., as needed.
