Job summary

METROPOLITAN WAREHOUSE AND DELIVERY in Greensboro, NC seeks a Local CDL A Driver for a full-time role. You will pick up inventory at the manufacturer’s site and return it to the hub daily, unload/load materials from trailers, and move items within the warehouse to support operations.

The position requires a valid Class A CDL, at least 2 years of CDL driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A fast-paced environment, reliable attendance, and precise paperwork are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance
• Maintains complete paperwork as needed
• Operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner

Requirements:

• Must pass DOT required drug and alcohol tests, MVR and Criminal Background Screenings
• Minimum 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience (required)
• Valid Class A CDL License
• Previous driving and warehouse inventory experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work with heavy furniture
• Ability to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand, and climb as required to secure a load
