Job summary

Nurse Next Door is hiring in Novato, CA for caregiving roles. Positions available Part-time and Full-time, delivering compassionate, in-home care under a Care Designer. You will follow care plans, support activities of daily living, and help clients maintain independence.

We value reliable team members who can manage personal care, light housekeeping, meals, and safe transportation. Requires active Home Care Aide registration in California.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care or caregiving preferred.
• Ability to read and follow care plans.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist clients with ADLs within the scope of a Registered Health Care Aide.
• Support personal hygiene, meal planning and preparation.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Remind and assist with medication as appropriate.
• Report changes in client condition to supervisor.
• Complete service records and timekeeping accurately.
• Transport clients to appointments or errands as needed.

Job Description

Starts – Immediately

Part time / Full time

$22 – $25 per hour

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
• Assisting clients with personal hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, bathing, and dressing.
• Meal planning and preparation
• Performing household services including housekeeping, laundry,
• Assisting clients with medications reminders which are ordinarily self-administered.
• Reporting changes in the client’s condition and needs to the administrator or care designer.
• Completing records regarding services performed.
• Driving to appointments or to run errands.
• Accurately records all hours worked.
• Remains alert throughout the shift in case client requires assistance, responds immediately to any such needs by providing the assistance required, or calling theCompany for guidance.
• Participating in all required entry-level and annual training requirements.
• Maintaining an active home care aide registration with the State of Ca. Dept. of SocialServices Home Care Services Bureau.
• Other duties as assigned by the administrator or designee.
