Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Fremont, CA is looking for a Home Care Aide to support clients in their homes. Starts immediately with part-time or full-time roles for female caregivers only. Additional locations include San Francisco, San Mateo, Woodside, Atherton, and Belmont.

Roles include following care plans, assisting with ADLs, personal hygiene, meals, light housekeeping, and transportation. Training and development are provided; apply to join a compassionate team.

Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Help clients with ADLs within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
• Assisting clients with personal hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, bathing, and dressing.
• Meal planning and preparation.
• Performing housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Reminding and assisting with medications as needed.
• Reporting changes in client condition to the administrator or care designer.
• Completing service records and documenting hours worked.

$21 – $24 per hour

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the home care aide include, but are not limited to, the following-

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
• Assisting clients with personal hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, bathing, and dressing.
• Meal planning and preparation
• Performing household services including housekeeping, laundry,
• Assisting clients with medications reminders which are ordinarily self-administered.
• Reporting changes in the client’s condition and needs to the administrator or care designer.
• Completing records regarding services performed.
• Driving to appointments or to run errands.
• Accurately records all hours worked.
• Remains alert throughout the shift in case client requires assistance, responds immediately to any such needs by providing the assistance required, or calling theCompany for guidance.
• Participating in all required entry-level and annual training requirements.
• Maintaining an active home care aide registration with the State of Ca. Dept. of SocialServices Home Care Services Bureau.
• Other duties as assigned by the administrator or designee.
