COBRA INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITIES INC is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the operational strategy, performance, and reliability of a growing portfolio of utility-scale solar PV plants in the United States.

This role requires establishing and managing a 24/7 operations team, ensuring optimal plant performance, compliance, and safety across an initial fleet of our operating solar facilities, with potential expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Energy, or related field preferred).
• 8–12+ years of experience in power generation operations, preferably in solar PV or renewable energy.
• Experience setting up or managing 24/7 control rooms or dispatch centers.
• Proven experience managing multi-site operations and building teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end operations of all PV plants, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Design, recruit, and manage a 24/7 operations control center team (operators, engineers, analysts).
• Define roles, shifts, and escalation processes for continuous monitoring and response.
• Oversee SCADA and monitoring systems for centralized plant control and real-time response to incidents.
• Coordinate corrective actions with field teams and maintenance providers.
• Ensure compliance with contractual performance guarantees and SLAs.
• Interface with asset owners, utilities, and regulatory bodies.
