Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to provide 24/7 support for the enterprise.

You will monitor CCTV and hotlines, report risks to leadership, and coordinate emergency information across Learning Development Center and multiple sites in the country. You will manage access control, issue badges, and use Honeywell Pro-Watch to monitor for unauthorized activity while assisting associates with emergency or security needs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred; 0-2 years of security experience is acceptable.
• Experience with monitoring CCTV and security systems is beneficial.
• Ability to prepare reports and daily activity logs for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Monitors closed-circuit televisions and telephone hotlines for the Learning Development Center and various locations.
• Provides reports to leadership based on potential risks (EIRL, Think LP, Dark Site).
• Monitors high risk locations via CCTV and conducts virtual patrol to ensure associate safety.
• Provides information and assistance to associates concerning emergency, security, and general assistance.
• Coordinates information exchange during all emergency situations.
• Identifies and reports minor mechanical and security systems errors; seeks assistance as needed.
• Prepares reports, activity logs, and files on daily actions and activities.
• Creates employee access badges and monitors access control for unauthorized activities via Honeywell Pro-Watch or related monitoring tool.
