Job summary

TENICA and Associates LLC in Silverdale, WA seeks an Operations Specialist II (Watchstander) to support a Navy Regional Operations Center. The role requires 24/7 situational awareness, monitoring, and information sharing using C4I tools within the ROC.

Position involves 12-hour shifts, seven days on, followed by seven days off, and requires an active DoD SECRET clearance. U.S. citizenship is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred though a high school diploma is mandatory.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 situational awareness and understanding of region activities
• Prepare oral and written briefings and disseminate briefings
• Maintain and track status of ROC equipment
• Respond to situations requiring immediate action or notification
• Support crisis action management for regional operations
• Screen, categorize and distribute incoming messages
• Control access to the Regional Operations Center
• Coordinate Continuity of Operations activities
• Prepare execute summaries and reports per policy/SOPs
• Process information into situational awareness displays
• Provide all-hazards warnings
• Coordinate with Protection Ashore teams including fire, emergency services and AT/EM staffs
