Job summary

TENICAand Associates LLC in Silverdale, WA is seeking an Operations Specialist II (Watchstander) to support a Navy Regional Operations Center. You will monitor and share information using C4I tools, maintain 24/7 situational awareness, and rotate through 12-hour night shifts.

The role requires the ability to analyze information, prepare briefings, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness and timely reporting per SOPs and CCIRs.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen status required.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in a DOD or DHS operations center is recommended.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, with rotating schedules.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to analyze information and prepare briefings for senior officials.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 situational awareness and understanding of Region activities.
• Prepare oral and written briefings and disseminate them.
• Maintain and track equipment status in ROC.
• Respond to situations requiring immediate action or notification.
• Support crisis action management for Regional operations.
• Screen, categorize and distribute incoming messages.
• Control access into the Regional Operations Center.
• Execute Continuity of Operations activities.
• Prepare execute summaries and other reports as directed.
• Receive and process information for situational displays.
• Provide all-hazards warnings.
• Coordinate with Protection Ashore capabilities (Fire, Emergency Services, AT, EM).
