Job summary

CSX is seeking a supervisory leader to direct servicing, repair, inspection, and preventative maintenance of railcars, locomotives, and equipment at the terminal and on line-of-road with 24/7 responsibility. You will implement safety, quality, and production best practices and drive continuous improvement within your area of responsibility.

You will be responsible for coaching others, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with CSX safety rules as well as FRA and AAR regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum supervision experience in mechanical operations or rail-related fields.
• Ability to communicate safety plans and procedures clearly.
• Experience coaching others and leading teams in shift-based work.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety plan execution and safety briefings for tasks.
• Oversee repair, inspection and maintenance of railcars and locomotives.
• Schedule staffing and material resources to meet objectives.
• Coach team members and manage performance and safety.
• Ensure compliance with FRA/AAR regulations and CSX standards.
