North Dakota Adjutant General seeks a Public Safety Telecommunicator / Emergency Dispatcher at Fraine Barracks, Bismarck, ND. The role answers emergency calls, assesses needs and dispatches responders under stressful conditions.

Formación

• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Certification in NCIC, CPR, and EMD within six months of employment.
• Background check, drug screen and hearing test required.

Responsabilidades

• Answering 911 and state emergency calls and dispatching services.
• Assessing situations quickly and coordinating law enforcement, fire and medical response.
• Rotating 16-week schedule with four 12-hour shifts and four days off.

Educación

Two years college coursework in criminal justice or related field

One year dispatch or emergency services experience

Two years office support/clerical experience
