Job summary

The Twelfth Judicial Circuit in Sarasota County seeks a Pretrial Services Intake Unit Supervisor to provide professional, administrative, and supervisory leadership for the Intake Unit, which operates 24/7, including weekends and holidays.

The ideal candidate will supervise staff, oversee daily operations, and use data and performance measures to support effective decision‑making, program operations, and compliance with statutory requirements, court directives, and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Industrial/Engineering Technology, or a related field and two years of job-related experience.
• Six years of professional job-related experience can substitute for the required education.
• Related program/project management experience may substitute for the required education.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assign, and evaluate Pretrial Services staff within the Intake Unit.
• Monitor case management activities through audits and reviews.
• Analyze data, case outcomes, and compliance measures to identify trends.
• Develop and implement program improvements and evidence-based practices.
• Ensure compliance with laws, directives, and CJIS security requirements.
• Collaborate with Court Administration, judiciary, justice partners, and community stakeholders.
• Prepare and present reports and provide training to leadership and staff.
• Provide operational leadership in the Director's absence and manage escalated matters.
