Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Orlando, FL, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to repair, install, and maintain electrical and mechanical components of production machinery, including engines, motors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and machine controls.

Be available for on-site emergencies 24-7-365, including breakdowns, outages, and weather events. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings, configuring direct replacement components,

Qualifications

• At least two years of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a loud environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, and maintain electrical and mechanical components of production machinery and equipment.
• Be on-site for emergencies 24-7-365, including breakdowns and outages.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and sketches.
• Read and understand mechanical drawings and basic control systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance activities and assist with small projects.
