Job summary

Mitsubishi Films America (MFA) Greer, SC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain production equipment and troubleshoot issues. The role requires strong mechanical skills, reading drawings, and knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

The ideal candidate will have an industrial maintenance background, be able to perform PMs, operate forklifts, and work overtime or on-call as needed, including rotating 4 days on / 4 days off when assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Organizational skills and ability to develop work scopes.
• Ability to troubleshoot to solve problems.
• Basic MS Office and SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Problem solving ability.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance activities to ensure continuous operations.
• Repairs equipment, performs PMs, and implements modifications.
• Understands hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Reads and interprets mechanical drawings.
• Operates forklifts, aerial lifts, and overhead hoists.
• Maintains safe work area and follows safety regulations.
• Interacts with other mechanics to share knowledge.
• Willingness to work in all plant areas and environments (heat, cold, heights, confined spaces).
• Willingness to work overtime and on-call as required.
• Rotating 4 days on - 4 days off if assigned to rotating shift.
