Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Director of Nursing Services (DON) for Renaissance Care Center in Gainesville, TX. The DON will oversee clinical operations in the Skilled Nursing Facility, ensuring high‑quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong clinical outcomes.

This role requires an RN license, 2+ years supervisory DON/ADON experience, and proven leadership. You will lead nursing staff, manage plans of care, surveys, and reviews with the Administrator.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state nursing license (RN).
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience as a DON or ADON in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal long‑term care regulations.
• Experience with survey readiness, Plans of Correction (POCs), and quality improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to ensure high‑quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
• Direct and support nursing staff in safe, effective, and compassionate care delivery.
• Oversee care planning process with interdisciplinary coordination.
• Uphold resident rights, including dignity, privacy, informed consent, and safety.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and responsible parties regarding changes in condition.
• Participate in pre‑admission assessments and approvals with the Administrator.
