Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license.
• Up-to-date physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles.
• Minimum of 5 years full-time or equivalent clinical experience with at least 2 years supervision in the long-term care setting.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the development and implementation of philosophy, objectives, policies and standards of Nursing practice aligned with organizational goals.
• Maintains adequate Nursing coverage to provide safe care 24/7 for all customers with dignity and respect.
• Works with the Administrator to develop, allocate and control the nursing department budget.
• Collects and analyzes clinical data for Quality Assurance and presents plans for improvement monthly.
• Completes daily rounds to observe patient needs and ensure nursing requirements are met.
• Provides direction to Nursing staff via policies, procedures, and meetings.
