Job summary

Ascentria Care Alliance seeks a Mental Health Residential Support Worker to assist adults with mental health challenges in Auburn, ME. This role covers 24/7 shifts across group homes, emphasizing advocacy, daily activity engagement, and development of individual treatment plans with community supports.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, valid ME driver’s license and auto insurance, and MHRT-1 certification (CPR/FA, BIT, MHSS, CRMA) or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Willingness and ability to obtain MHRT-1 certification ( CPR/FA, BIT, MHSS, CRMA).
• Must meet State of ME licensing standards for mental health services.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with a range of mental health challenges and encourage engagement in daily activities.
• Assist in developing individual treatment plans and establish community supports and access to activities.
• Covering 24 hours a day / 7 days a week with flexible scheduling options.
