Job summary

Gray Media is seeking a Centralcast Master Control Manager for our Atlanta hub. The role leads a shift-based Master Control team in a 24/7 operation, ensuring reliable on-air performance and documented procedures.

You will manage staff, coordinate schedules, and provide hands-on support with broadcast equipment. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in broadcast operations, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.

Qualifications

College degree or technical diploma preferred; experience will be considered in place of a degree.
At least 10 years of experience in broadcast television station operation.
Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operation of broadcast equipment in a Centralcast environment
Successful management, scheduling, and leadership of the technical facility and staff
Effective communication of issues and problems to management at both local and remote facilities
Accurate documentation of on-air operations in the form of logging, reporting, and scheduling
Additional duties — performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned, adapting to the evolving operational needs of the Centralcast Hub.
