Job summary

HTC Global Services in Louisville, KY is seeking a Manufacturing IT Support Engineer to maintain plant IT applications, infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user productivity tools to keep manufacturing operations running reliably. You will work across shifts, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with corporate IT and operations teams, manage incidents, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have IT operations and technical troubleshooting experience or willingness to develop quickly.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server administration or willingness to learn.
• Experience with Cisco routers/switches and basic cabling/troubleshooting or willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with SDA and related troubleshooting.
• Experience with or willingness to learn SharePoint, Azure/Intune, AD/ADFS, VMware vSphere.
• Experience with Windows client OS and Office 365.
• Experience supporting or willingness to learn iOS/Android devices.
• Experience supporting IT peripherals (printers, monitors, handheld terminals).
• Strong communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a high-pressure production environment and 24/7 operations.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in semi-tempered environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT application, infrastructure, OS, and end-user productivity tool support across manufacturing operations.
• Support a multi-shift manufacturing environment with flexible hours and weekend production as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving plant-floor apps, infrastructure, and manufacturing systems.
• Coordinate with corporate IT and business stakeholders to prioritize improvements.
• Support incident management, triage, business continuity, escalations, and problem resolution.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams including database, server, and network operations.
• Support local network equipment in a Cisco-based environment.
• Maintain and support Windows and Linux servers (physical and virtual).
• Assist with integration and long-term maintenance of applications and hardware.
• Support IIoT, SDN, mobile devices, iOS/Android technologies deployment.
• Assist IT management with assignments and workload coordination.
• Develop, maintain and share accurate technical support documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical problems while driving continuous improvement.
