Job summary

Cambridge International Systems, Inc. is seeking an Operations Specialist to support 24/7 U.S. government missions from Virginia Beach, VA. The role requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance and offers a salary range of $70,000.00 - $80,000.00.

You will monitor IT systems, assist in disaster restoration, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met. Occasional shifts, overtime, and related duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Minimum four years of relevant operations experience.
• Must be able to work 24/7 rotating shifts.
• Excellent coordination with government project managers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily 24/7 operations as part of a rotating watch.
• Monitor mission-critical IT, servers, routers, and network links.
• Provide timely updates to leadership and customers on status and issues.
• Serve as escalation liaison between operations and support teams for rapid restoration.
• Draft and review SOPs and operation procedures.
• Train and mentor junior watch standers and craft personnel.
