Job summary

Enviva is seeking a maintenance technician to support 24/7 pellet production by performing preventive maintenance and diagnostics on critical machinery. The role emphasizes lubrication, troubleshooting of pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors, and adherence to safety protocols in a heavy industrial environment.

You will coordinate maintenance tasks, document inspections, and help improve equipment reliability and throughput while complying with Enviva’s environmental and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive, predictive and proactive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to analyze process flow to identify issues.
• Proficient in hydraulics, lubrication, and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repairs on motors, fans, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps and other pellet mill equipment.
• Perform/coordinate preventive maintenance and lubrication as scheduled and maintain reports.
• Inspect equipment and maintain equipment in good condition.
• Analyze equipment performance and recommend tooling and changes to improve throughput and quality.
• Identify corrective action and escalate issues for proper resolution.
• Rig and move equipment safely and operate mobile equipment as needed.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping to meet Enviva guidelines.
• Adhere to all environmental, health and safety policies.
