Job summary

Camstex operates the Keys Energy Center (761MW) as a control room operator, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation. You will follow procedures and directives, monitor turbines, log data, and communicate conditions clearly.

Requires 3+ years in Aeroderivative turbine operation, experience with Siemens T3000 and Ovation, and an engineering background. This full-time role involves rotating shifts and occasional travel, with comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years operating Aeroderivative combustion turbines.
• Strong technical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor combustion turbines, auxiliary equipment, and control room systems safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement emergency procedures as needed.
• Record and analyze data from meters, gauges, and monitoring systems.
• Communicate plant conditions clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Train operators and ensure shift maintenance tasks are completed.
• Work rotating shifts, respond to 24/7 callouts, and perform physical tasks.
