Job summary

National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) is seeking a Central Monitoring Station Operator to ensure safety at the South Table Mountain and Flatirons Campuses and local facilities. The role focuses on monitoring alarms, coordinating emergency response, and maintaining detailed logs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 4+ years of experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Associate's Degree or certification program with 2+ years of experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Full knowledge of business support functions and applicable software & office equipment.
• Demonstrated project administration skills and knowledge of procedures related to supported fields.

Responsibilities

• Operate NLR's Central Monitoring Station and serve as primary contact during on-site emergencies for the campuses.
• Monitor fire and life safety alarms, CCTV, IDS and security systems; maintain logs and generate reports.
• Dispatch internal responders and contact 911 when necessary; provide 24/7/365 CMS support across shifts.
• Provide CMS training for LP personnel and collaborate with internal and external responders.
