Real-time monitoring uses OMS, SCADA, and CIS to coordinate outages and support the System Control team, ensuring reliable service and clear member communications.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, the ability to stay calm under pressure, basic computer skills, and a willingness to work night, weekend, holiday, and on‑call shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency or high‑pressure situations.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn multiple operational systems.
• Willingness to work shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call rotations as required.
• Experience in electric utility operations, dispatch, system control, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with field personnel to issue Clearances, Hot Line Orders, and Special Conditions; assists with service order work.
• Monitors system loads and uses load control and management programs.
• Tracks outages using OMS and CIS, assists in restoring service.
• Assists with power flow and switching procedures for outages and maintenance.
• Creates system reports for analysis and communicates outage information.
• Coordinates with Operations for planned outages and notifies members via automation phones.
• Answers calls, directs members to the correct department, and assists during outages or power quality issues.
• Performs general administrative tasks for management.
• Monitors building security and access to the headquarters yard.
