Job summary

OGE Energy Corp. is seeking a Distribution Control Center Operator Associate to monitor and adjust the distribution system, directing crews as needed to prevent interruptions and minimize restoration time.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma/GED with 3 years in Electric Services Engineering/Operations or related construction function
• Or an Associate's Degree with 2 years experience in Electric Services Engineering/Operations or related construction function

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce established SOPs.
• Promote and support safety awareness.
• Resolve questions, issues and problems within area of responsibility.
• Plan and prioritize work and resources, including daily switching impact.
• Maintain Operators Log, reports, breaker operations and SCADA abnormal summary.
• Support 24-hour operations of the DCC.
• Write, direct and approve Hot Line Hold Switching Orders.
• With supervision, analyze the Distribution System including outages, voltage, load flow, CADS/OMS.
• Independently write and direct complex switching orders with supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
