Job summary

Air National Guard Units in Bangor, Maine is seeking a Command and Control Specialist to support the Wing Command Post and 24/7 operations. The role involves coordinating launch, recall, and mission execution, and providing critical briefings to the Crisis Action Team and HHQ.

Applicants must meet the Education requirements, be able to obtain a Secret security clearance, and have experience with Emergency Action Procedures and mission coordination within the DoD framework.

Qualifications

• Emergency Action Procedures knowledge and certification required.
• Experience coordinating aircrew and assets for launch, recall and execution.
• Ability to brief and support Crisis Action Team and HHQ.

Responsibilities

• Transmits instructions to aircrews and support assets to coordinate launch, recall, execution, and terminating missions.
• Maintains certification in the EAP of JCS, Unified Commands, AMC, USSTRATCOM, and NGB.
• Coordinates with FAA, CSC, MOC, and Fire Department to support mission requirements.
• Provides information and briefings to the CAT and the alert force.
