Job summary

MANTECH seeks a skilled and mission-focused Cloud Support Engineer to join our Tysons, VA team. You will support hybrid cloud infrastructure operations, provide 24x7 incident response, and help customers achieve seamless cloud integration across Linux and Kubernetes environments.

You will diagnose complex cases via ServiceNow, monitor incidents, and collaborate with engineering to reproduce issues and validate fixes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.
Four years of relevant experience may substitute a bachelor’s degree.
Associate’s degree + two years of relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
AWS/AZ certifications may substitute experience (0.5–2 years depending on cert).
Experience in Linux system administration and Kubernetes environments.
Experience with ticketing, alerting, and incident response tools.
8140 compliance requirements with relevant certifications or degrees.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, resolve, and track complex support cases via ServiceNow, phone, and email.
Monitor and triage incidents using SOPs and runbooks; ensure SLA adherence.
Independently resolve Linux and Kubernetes issues with minimal supervision.
Partner with product and backline engineers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
Identify trends and provide feedback to engineering and process teams.
Deliver high-touch support to government and enterprise customers with clear communication.
Update and refine documentation, runbooks, and response procedures for reliability.
Work shifts include days, evenings, or nights with rotating weekends as needed.
